By Public Transport Durham bus and train stations are both one mile from the hotel. By Car From Newcastle Airport: - The hotel is about 30 minutes' drive (20 miles/32 km) away from the airport. - Head towards the A1 and follow signs for Durham. - Take the A690 into the city centre. - Continue over the first roundabout. - Turn left at the second roundabout and then turn left at the traffic lights. - The hotel is on the left. Durham city centre is pedestrianised and best explored on foot. A car would be useful for trips out of town. By Air: The hotel is approximately 20 miles from Newcastle Airport.
